VISIONARY project (2003)

The articles below focus on definitions, prevalence and sources of violence in five European countries: Denmark, Finland, Germany, Portugal and the UK. The articles resulted from the first phase of the VISIONARY project (2000-2003) and were published in 2003. All articles are available in form of a short overview and a full text.

UK-001 project (2001)

The main output of the UK-001 project "Tackling Violence in School", funded under the CONNECT initiative were 17 country reports on violence in schools. 

The 17 reports were published in 2001 and cover all 15 member states of the EC and 2 associated states: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The "Violence in Schools" Initiative" (1999)

As a part of the "Violence in Schools" Initiative" national reports were written that give an overview about national policies and initiatives against violence in schools.

For the following countries and associations reports are available in English, German and French: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, United Kingdom, European Parents Association (EPA), European Trade Union Committee for Education (CSEE-ETUCE).
