School Bullying and Violence in Europe

In this section you find several articles and links to articles on school bullying and violence in different European countries. The articles we listed respectively we linked to in this section go back to three projects funded by different programs of the European Commission: The VISIONARY project (2003), the UK-001 project (2001) and the "Violence in Schools" Initiative" (1999). The texts in this section were written in the first phase of the VISIONARY project (2000-2003) and are available in English, German, Portuguese, Danish and Finnish.

Introduction: Violence Prevention in school

This article introduces measures that can be implemented in schools. It also presents a theoretical and practical set of measures to improve relationships within school and increase the participation of the different actors at the classroom and school level.
